Reward System in Company XY

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je vytvořit doporučení na zlepšení systému odměňování v konkrétní společnosti. Teoretická část práce se věnuje odměňování, jeho právním limitům, jeho schopnosti motivovat zaměstnance a konceptu celkové odměny. V praktické části je prostřednictvím kvantitativního výzkumu v podobě dotazníku a kvalitativního výzkumu v podobě rozhovorů zjišťována úroveň spokojenosti zaměstnanců se současným systémem odměn a identifikovány jeho silné a slabé stránky. Bylo zjištěno, že brigádníci jsou ve společnosti současným systémem motivováni a jsou s ním z velké části spokojeni, ale systém jejich odměn stále obsahuje nedostatky, zejména není dobře komunikován. Zaměstnanci na plný úvazek jsou ve společnosti se současným systémem spokojenější než kdy dříve, ale stále je jim nabízeno nedostatečné množství benefitů a vzdělávání, problematická je taktéž absence uznání. Pro eliminaci těchto nedostatků jsou formulována doporučení.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to make recommendations to improve the reward system in a selected company. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on remuneration, its legal limits, its ability to motivate employees, and the concept of total reward. In the practical part, through quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire and qualitative research in the form of interviews, the level of employee satisfaction with the current reward system is determined and its strengths and weaknesses are identified. It was found that the part-time workers are motivated by the current system in the company and mostly satisfied with it, but the system of their rewards still contains shortcomings, in particular, it is not well communicated. Full-time employees in the company are more satisfied with the current system than ever before, but they are still offered insufficient benefits and educational opportunities, and there is also a problematic lack of recognition. Recommendations are made to address these shortcomings.
