Using methods of pain relief in the first stage of labor.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou tlumení bolesti v první době porodní. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, a to teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část je zaměřena na porodní bolest a na tlumení bolesti metodami farmakologickými a nefarmakologickými. Praktická část se zabývá vlastním průzkumem, který byl proveden pomocí dotazníků. Cílem výzkumu je zjistit, jaké jsou nejvyužívanější a nejefektivnější nefarmakologické metody pro tlumení porodní bolesti, dále jaký vliv má porodní bolest na ženy, zjistit, jaká je informovanost žen o tlumení porodní bolesti, a prozkoumat, jak ovlivňuje ženu chování personálu a prostředí porodních sálů. Z výsledků vyplynulo, že nejčastěji využívanou metodou tlumení porodní bolesti jsou dechové techniky a nejefektivnější metodou je hydroanalgezie. Rodičky, které měly u porodu přítomného partnera, hodnotily bolest s menší intenzitou. Nejčastěji ženy získávají informace o metodách tlumení bolesti přes internet a většina respondentek měla informace o tlumení porodní bolesti již před porodem. Z průzkumu také vyplývá, že ženy, které byly spíše nespokojené s přístupem zdravotního personálu, ohodnotily také bolest jako intenzivnější než rodičky, které byly spokojené.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the labour pain relief in the first parturient period. The work is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is concentrated on the labour pain and pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods of pain controlling. The practical part is concerned with the research, which was carried out via questionnaires. The aim of the research was to find out what are the most widely used and most effective non-pharmacological methods for the labour pain relief, furthermore what is the effect of the labour pain on women, to learn what is the awareness of women about the labour pain controlling and to explore, what influence has got the behaviour of the staff and the atmosphere of the delivery room on the woman. The results show that the most widely used method of the labour pain relief is the breath techniques, and the most effective method is the hydroanalgezii. The women in child bed, whose partners were present during the childbearing claimed that the pain had a lower intensity. Women gain information about methods of the labour pain relief via the internet and most of the respondents had information about the labour pain relief before the childbearing. The research implies that women who were rather dissatisfied with the approach of the medical staff assessed the intensity of labour pain as more intensive than women who felt satisfied.
