Abstract:

Tato magisterská diplomová práce se věnuje moderní ruské literatuře, která se zabývá tématem homosexuality. Samotný text seznamuje čtenáře s hlavními tezemi a nejvýraznějšími představiteli dané problematiky. Mezi nejvýraznější osobnosti analyzovaného okruhu bezesporu patří Jevgenij Charitonov, jehož tragický osud a umělecká tvorba s nádechem existencialismu a psychologismu tvoří stěžejní část práce, jejímž prvořadým cílem je demonstrovat charakteristické rysy autorského stylu Charitonova v konfrontačním pohledu (odlišné přístupy, metody,…) s tvorbou Michaila A. Kuzmina a Eduarda Limonova.

Abstract:

This thesis is dealing with the theme of homosexuality in Russian literature. Its main focus is on the Russian homosexual prose of the 20th century - Evgenij Kharitonov with his tragical existencialism and other important gay-writers such as Mikhail Kuzmin and Edward Limonov. For 70 years, Soviet culture's pervasive censorship, homophobia and criminalization made taboo any mention of homosexuality or sex between men. Even during the last decade, until the repeal of Russia's Article 121 in 1993, studying gay topics was potentially dangerous. That is why the aim of this thesis is to present not only the typical features of the gayauthors’ works and to introduce Evgenii Kharitonov, who was never published by the official Soviet press but also present authors different approaches to the topic discussed against historical backround.
