Fotografie v lotyšské Rize 1839-1918

Abstract:

Classification of phtographic images from given period, available in the museums of Latvia and private family albums. First, photographs will be grouped by used tecnique (daguerreotype, ambrotype, ferrotype, albumin print, pigment prints, color photography and others) and then, by genre (portrait, nude, landscape, reportage, etnography and others). Every genre will be descripted more detailed. (For example-portrait: individual portrait, family portrait, group portrait, carte de visite and cabinet portraits). There will be closer description of the most characteristic and either most specific photographs-composition, photographer´s style, specific details. There will be analysis of adjustation and graphic design. At first, trends (from symbolic of painting, widely used in 19th century till art noveau style graphics from beginning of 20th century). And how graphic design helps research-dating the photograph and claim succsess of studio or photographer. Aim of Bachelor thesis is to collect available matherial and create a compilation as a starting matherial for Master thesis.

Abstract:

Klasifikace fotografických obrazů z daného období, přístupných v muzejích a soukromých sbírkách. Nejdřív fotografie budou klasifikované podle použité techniky (daguerreotypie, ambrotypie, ferrotypie, albumín, ušlechtilé tisky, barevné techniky aj. ) a potom podle žánru (portrét, akt, krajina, reportáž, etnografický dokument aj.) Každý žánr bude popisován blíž. (Na příklad-Portrét: individuální portrét, rodinný portrét, skupinový portrét, použivané formáty-Cabinet Portrait, Carte-de-Visite. Detailizovaně budou popsány nejtypičtější a také zajímavejší fotografie-kompozice, rukopis fotografa, zajímavé detaily. Také budou analyzována adjustace a grafický dizain ve zadní straně fotografie. Jednak budou popsány jednotlivé trendy-od symboliky malby a florálních motivů po secesi. A také, jak grafický dizain pomůže datovat fotografie a určit úspěch ateliéru. Cílem bakalářské práce je schromáždit materiál a vytvořit kompilaci jako výchozí materiál pro magisterskou práci.
