The goal of this thesis is to compare the systems of social housing in selected countries of the European Union, namely in Germany, France, Slovakia, Poland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Greece, Slovenia, Austria, Belgium and Denmark, and to evaluate the social housing situation in the Czech Republic, which is dealt with in a separate chapter.
