Comparison of competences in selected socially disadvantaged groups

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá kompetencemi u vybraných sociálně znevýhodněných skupin, které jsou stěžejní pro uplatnění jedince na trhu práce. Cílem práce je porovnat kompetence, které jsou stěžejní pro uplatnění jedince na trhu práce u vybraných skupin respondentů. Teoretická část se věnuje problematice kompetencí, poskytováním sociálních služeb v azylových domech a problematikou sociálně znevýhodněných skupin. Praktickou část tvoří výsledky dotazníkového šetření zaměřeného na zjištění a porovnání úrovně dosažených kompetencí u matek ubytovaných v azylových domech a matek žijících v sociálně vyloučených lokalitách. Na základě výzkumu jsou formulovány závěry a doporučení využitelná v praxi sociální pedagogiky a dalších disciplín tzv. pomáhajících profesí. Pro statistické vyhodnocení dat získaných dotazníkovým šetřením bylo využito příslušného typu t-testu pro komparaci aritmetických průměrů dvou nezávislých výběrů dat.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with competences of members of selected socially disadvantaged groups, which are crucial for the job acquisition of an individual on the labor market. The aim of the work is to compare the competences that are crucial for the success of an individual belonging to selected groups of respondents on the labor market. The theoretical part deals with the issue of competencies, provision of social services in shelters and the problem of socially disadvantaged groups. The practical part consists of the results of a questionnaire survey aimed at identifying and comparing the level of competencies achieved by mothers accommodated in shelters and mothers living in socially excluded localities. Based on the research, conclusions and recommendations are formulated that can be used in the practice of social pedagogy and other disciplines of the so-called helping professions. For statistical evaluation of data obtained by a questionnaire survey, the appropriate type of t-test was used to compare the arithmetic means of two independent data selections.
