Abstract:
The diploma thesis analyses the use of European structural and investment funds in the NUTS II Southeast Cohesion Region with a focus on the program period 2007-2013 and 2014-2020. The use of EU funds is analysed regarding regional development. The results of the Southeast region are compared to the other cohesion regions and the Europe 2020 strategy.
