Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „R. Schumann: Davidsbündlertänze, op. 6. Otazníky nad klavírním cyklem a pojmem Davidsbündler“ pojednává o okolnostech vzniku klavírního cyklu a tzv. „Davidsbündlerů“. Jelikož v rámci české a slovenské literatury neexistuje známý materiál detailněji přibližující koncept Spolku bratrstva Davidovců, rozsáhlá část práce je věnována Schumannově publicistické činnosti a jeho časopisu Neue Zeitschrift für Musik. Samotná problematika skladby Davidsbündlertänze je rozebírána na pozadí jejího historického, politického a biografického vzniku, s přihlédnutím k různým verzím jejího vydaní.

Abstract:

Bachelor’s thesis “R. Schumann: Davidsbündlertänze, Op. 6. Questions about the piano cycle and the concept of Davidsbündler” deals with circumstances of the origin of the piano cycle and so-called “Davidsbündler”. Since there is no existence of known material within Czech and Slovak literature that would describe the concept of Davidsbundler, or David’s League, an extensive part of this thesis is dedicated to Schumann’s journalistic activity and his journal Neue Zeitschrift für Musik. The compositional issues of Davidbundlertanze are parsed on its historical, political, and biographical origin through its different editions.
