Different personality straits of a teacher - comparison of the theory and practice

Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám výchovou a výukou, převážně ve vztahu učitele (vychovatel) a žáka, jelikož tyto pojmy úzce souvisejí s osobnostmi učitelů, což je hlavní téma mé práce. Důležité jsou rovněž pojmy komunikace a interakce ve výuce. V kapitolách, v nichž se zabývám osobnostmi učitelů, seznamuji mj. s pojmy, jež s osobností úzce souvisejí. Například temperament či charakter. Samozřejmě zde uvádím typologie učitelů tak, jak je vypracovali pedagogičtí myslitelé. Dále se zabývám tím, jaké jsou požadavky na profil učitele, a to v oblasti jednak pedagogické, psychologické, ale také z hlediska profesionality. V praktické části jsem se snažila vypozorovat chování a jednání učitelů v hodině, zhodnotit tak jejich osobnosti a porovnat je s uvedenými typologiemi. Dále jsem vypracovala průzkum toho, jak si žáci, ale i učitelé, představují ideálního kantora.

Abstract:

As part of my Bachelor?s degree dissertation I focus on education and schooling, mainly in relation to the teacher and pupil, because they are closely linked to the teacher?s personalities. This is therefore the main theme of my dissertation. Other concepts such as communication and interaction in schooling are important as well. In the chapter, where I write about the personalities of teachers, I introduce these and other concepts that are closely associated with personality. Temperament and character for example. Of course I present profiles of teachers in terms of how they were described by the educational thinkers. Then I engaged in what are the requirements for a teacher?s profile - in educational, psychological and professional areas. In the practical part of my dissertation I tried to find out the behavior and actions of teachers in class, review their personalities and compare these personalities with alleged profiles. I also conducted research into how pupils envisage an ideal teacher and if any of their teachers fulfilled these notions.
