The Development of Czech Households Debts and its Possible Risks

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou zadlužování domácností a možnými riziky, z toho vyplývajícími. Název tématu diplomové práce je „Vývoj zadluženosti českých domácností a jeho možná rizika“. Téma jsem si zvolila, protože v médiích stále častěji slyšíme o takzvaných rychlých půjčkách všem, a zároveň je stále častěji řešeno téma exekucí. Cílem práce bylo určit, které makroekonomické ukazatele mají vliv na tendenci spotřebitelů k zadlužení a jaké jsou důsledky zadlužování. Jsou zde přiblíženy teorie chování spotřebitele při rozhodování o spotřebě a úsporách. Praktická část práce se zabývá komparací úvěrů s makroekonomickými ukazateli z hlediska typu úvěru a poskytující finanční instituce. Diplomová práce také zahrnuje příčiny zadlužování domácností, legislativní ochranu spotřebitele při vzetí úvěru nebo zápůjčky od finanční instituce a důsledky pro nesolventní dlužníky. Data použitá pro účely analýzy jsou převzatá z Českého statistického úřadu, České národní banky a další internetové zdroje.

Abstract:

This dissertation deals with the issue of household debt and the potential risks. Title of the dissertation is "Development of Czech household debt and his possible risks. I have chosen this theme, because we more often hear about fast loans for everybody and about executions too. The target of the dissertation was to determine which macroeconomic indicators have an influence on the propensity of consumers to debt and what the implications of debt are. There are approached theories about behavior of consumer and saving. The theory of consumer behavior, by dealing with decisions on consumption and saving, are approached. The practical part deals with the comparison of loans with macroeconomic indicators for the type of loan and providing financial institutions. The dissertation also includes too causes of household debts, legislation on consumers protection when taking a loan from financial institutions and the implications for insolvent debtors. The data used for analysis are taken from the Czech Statistical Office, Czech National Bank and other Internet sources.
