The possibility of activation of the elderly social services in medical equipment

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá aktivizací seniorů v pobytové sociální službě poskytované zdravotnickým zařízením. Teoretická část je zaměřena na problematiku stáří a stárnutí a s ním spojený význam aktivizace. Jsou zde charakterizovány změny a potřeby související se stárnutím. Větší část teoretické části práce je věnována samotné aktivizaci seniorů. Uvedeny jsou vybrané terapeutické přístupy, metody, formy a techniky, které lze využít v rámci aktivizačních programů pro seniory. V empirické části diplomové práce jsou prezentovány výsledky vlastního výzkumného šetření, jehož cílem bylo identifikovat a charakterizovat aktivizační činnosti využívané ve vybrané sociální službě poskytované ve zdravotnickém zařízení. Závěrem práce jsou doporučení a podněty pro poskytovatele sociální služby.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the activation of seniors in a residential social service provided by a health care facility. The theoretical part focuses on the issue of old age and ageing and the related importance of activation. The changes and needs related to ageing are characterised. The greater part of the theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the activation of the elderly itself. Selected therapeutic approaches, methods, forms and techniques that can be used in activation programmes for the elderly are presented. In the empirical part of the thesis, the results of the own research investigation are presented, the aim of which was to identify and characterize the activation activities used in a selected social service provided in a health care facility. The thesis concludes with recommendations and suggestions for social service providers.
