The theme of Providence in Mazoni
Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the theme of providence in works of the Italian writer Alessandro Manzoni, emphasizing on his most important writing, the historical novel The Betrothed. The thesis examines author’s attitude to history and God, and explains the intention on which the author wrote this novel.
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá tématem boží prozřetelnosti v díle italského spisovatele Alexandra Manzoniho, s důrazem na jeho stěžejní dílo, historický román Snoubenci. Zkoumá vztah autora k historii a k Bohu a vysvětluje, s jakým úmyslem napsal autor svůj román.
