Electronic payment system

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou elektronických plateb. V první části práce je podrobně popsán obsah EMV specifikace, což je de facto standard pro použití čipových platebních karet zajišťující interoperabilitu a přijímaní čipových karet na platebních terminálech v celosvětovém měřítku. Téma EMV specifikace je zpracováno formou vhodnou pro rychlé studium dané problematiky. V rámci praktické části je popsán princip fungování 3-D Secure systému a je implementován systém elektronických plateb ve webovém klientovi informačního systému pro sportovní centra pracující s 3-D Secure systémem implementovaným Českou spořitelnou. V závěru práce je navrženo rozšíření této implementace takovým způsobem, aby vzniklý systém umožnil provádění elektronických plateb přes třetí stranu, která zprostředkovává platby mezi sportovním centrem a Českou spořitelnou.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the electronic payments issues. The first part of the thesis describes the content of the EMV specification in detail. The EMV specification is a de facto standard for the usage of payment chip cards (cards equipped with an integrated circuit) which ensures the interoperability and acceptance of payment chip cards on payment terminals all over the world. The EMV specification topic is elaborated in a way suitable for a short study of the problem domain. In the second part of the thesis the principles of the 3-D Secure system is described and a payment system in an web client of an information system for sport centres is implemented. The payment system works with the 3-D Secure system implemented by Česká spořitelna. Finally an extension of this payment system implementation is designed for the resulting system to be able to process electronic payments via a third party, which mediates the payments among a sport centre and the Česká spořitelna.
