Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na analýzu lázeňského města Třeboň jako destinaci cestovního ruchu. Cílem této diplomové práce je sestavit přehled o cestovním ruchu ve městě Třeboň a navrhnout doporučení na zlepšení služeb cestovního ruchu, která vzejdou z analýzy současného stavu provedené formou dotazování – řízeným rozhovorem a zjištěných statistických údajů. Dílčím cílem této práce je vymezit, popsat a zhodnotit některé atraktivity města Třeboň jako vhodného nástroje rozvoje cestovního ruchu. Výzkumným problémem této práce je otázka, zda je město Třeboň připraveno při využití stávajícího potenciálu, který vyplývá z přírodních, kulturních, technických a historických atraktivit města, objevit další rezervy ve stávající nabídce služeb návštěvníkům Třeboně a zvýšit úroveň cestovního ruchu. Metody použité v této práci jsou především analýza a deskripce jednotlivých atraktivit města Třeboň a metoda základní popisné statistiky. Rovněž bylo dílčím způsobem použito metody komparace. Pro účely zjištění dalších relevantních informací byla zvolena metoda empirického průzkumu, dotazování – sběru primárních dat, realizovaná formou řízeného rozhovoru a telefonického dotazování. Teoreticko-metodologická část práce se věnuje některým definicím teoretických ekonomických pojmů, které souvisejí s cestovním ruchem. Zabývá se pojmem cestovního ruchu a jeho jednotlivými druhy a formami, charakteristikou základních složek cestovního ruchu a lázeňským a sportovním cestovním ruchem. Další (analytická) část práce se zabývá charakteristikou města Třeboň, jeho stručnou historií, zhodnocením nabídky cestovního ruchu v Třeboni a deskripcí některých historických, kulturních a přírodních atraktivit tohoto města a jeho bezprostředního okolí. Dále jsou zhodnocena ubytovací a stravovací zařízení, doprava a možnosti využití volného času. V závěru analytické části je vyhodnocena analýza sběru primárních dat zjištěných formou řízeného rozhovoru v dotazníkovém šetření s podnikateli a zástupci státní správy a městské samosprávy za účelem zjištění kvality a rozsahu nabídky poskytovaných služeb a úrovně dosavadní spolupráce mezi těmito subjekty v oblasti cestovního ruchu v Třeboni. Poslední, návrhová část práce uvádí nedostatky zjištěného stavu, které vyplývají z analytické části a zároveň obsahuje návrhy a doporučení, které by mohly vést ke zlepšení služeb v oblasti cestovního ruchu ve městě Třeboň.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis analyses the spa town of Třeboň as a tourist destination. The aim of the thesis is provide an overview of Třeboň tourism and formulate recommendations to improve the tourist services provided, which will be based on an analysis of the current state conducted in the form of survey/controlled interview and through the statistical data obtained. A specific goal of the present thesis is to define, describe and evaluate some of the Třeboň attractions as a powerful tool in developing tourism. The research task of the thesis is the question whether Třeboň is ready to identify further gaps in the existing range of services offered to tourists and to increase the level of tourism using the town’s existing potential consisting of the natural, cultural, technical and historical attractions. The methods used in this thesis mainly include analysis and description of individual attractions of Třeboň and the basic descriptive statistics method. The comparative method was also used in part. The method of empirical research, survey / primary data collection, which took the form of a controlled interview and over-the-phone polling, was used to obtain further relevant information. The theoretical/methodological part of the thesis defines certain theoretical economic terms related to tourism. It deals with tourism as such and its specific types and forms, considering the characteristics of the basic components of tourism and spa and sports tourism. The next (analytical) part of the thesis characterises and provides a brief account of Třeboň’s history, evaluating the tourism offer in Třeboň and describing certain historical, cultural and natural attractions of the town and its immediate surroundings. Its accommodation and catering capacities are further evaluated, along with transport and leisure facilities. In its conclusion, the analytical part evaluates the analysis of data primarily collected through controlled interviews conducted as part of a questionnaire survey with entrepreneurs and representatives of state administration and municipal self-government with a view to determining the quality and range of the services provided and the level the existing cooperation between these entities in tourism in Třeboň. The last part of the thesis (suggestions) describes the current deficiencies suggested by the analytical part and contains suggestions and recommendations that could lead to an improvement in the tourist services offered in Třeboň.
