Transmition of geoinformation via communication devices

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi bezdrátového přenosu geografických informací z centrálních databází do mobilních prostředků. Jsou shrnuty poznatky o bezdrátových komunikačních technologiích používaných v současné době na území České republiky a stručně je popsán princip jejich fungování a jejich vlastnosti. Těžiště práce je v praktickém testování a zkoumání možností přenosu dat v závislosti na množství přenášené informace za různých podmínek, následné analýze naměřených dat a jejich vyhodnocení. Je zjišťováno, jaké zobrazovací jednotky elektronických systémů jsou používány v krizovém managementu v České republice a parametry těchto zobrazovacích jednotek jsou podrobně analyzovány. Jednou z příloh je i CD-ROM, kde najdeme zjištěné elektronické systémy, parametry zobrazovacích jednotek, hodnoty naměřené při praktickém testování a k nim vyhotovené grafy.

Abstract:

This graduation theses is concerned with possibilities of wireless transmission of geographic information from a central database to mobile facilities. There are summarized the knowledge of wireless communication technologies currently used in the Czech Republic and it is also described their working principle and their characteristics. A focus of this theses is pointed in practical measurements and probe into data transfer possibilities depending on the amount of transmitted information under various conditions, consequential analyses of the recorded data and their interpretation. There is an investigation with display devices of electronical system used in the Crisis Management in the Czech Republic and parametres of these devices are closely analysed. One of the enclosures there is a CD-ROM where one can find observed electronical systems, attributes of their display devices, measured values taking during practical testing procedure and drawn charts.
