This bachelor thesis focuses on motivation of teenage ESL students in the one-to-one setting. Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje motivaci náctiletých studentů anglického jazyka při individuální výuce. První část pojednává o hlavních teoriích motivace a jejich využití v praxi, o zvláštnostech tří období dospívání a efektivního učení na základě znalostí o funkcích mozku dospívajících a nakonec zmiňuje i jedinečnost individuální výuky.
