Mobbing of medical students - scoping review

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem mobbingu s konkrétním zaměřením na studenty zdravotnických oborů. Průzkum probíhá na základě literární rešerše a využívá aktuálních vědeckých poznatků. Práce usiluje o rozšíření povědomí v oblasti problematiky mobbingu a popisuje jeho vliv na studenty zdravotnických oborů. Účastníci zařazených výzkumů na základě standardizovaných dotazníků, hodnotících škál nebo polostrukturovaného rozhovoru uvedli, že studenti jsou mobbingem nejvíce ovlivněni v oblasti psychického zdraví a ovlivňuje jejich studijní výsledky. Je také prokázáno, že u studentů po zkušenosti se šikanou na pracovišti existuje větší riziko předčasného ukončení studia.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of mobbing with a specific focus on medical students. The survey is based on literature research and uses current scientific knowledge. The work seeks to increase awareness of the issue of mobbing and describes how its effect on students of health professions. Based on standardized questionnaires, rating scales and semi-structured interview, the participants of the included research stated that students are most affected by mobbing in psychological health and that it affects their academic results. It has also been shown that students are at greater risk of dropping out after experiencing workplace bullying.
