Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá fenoménem "králičích nor" na sociálních sítích a jejich vlivem na uživatele. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na definici a vysvětlení pojmu "králičí nory", jejich vztah k dalším souvisejícím jevům a roli algoritmů sociálních sítí v jejich vytváření. Dále jsou analyzovány psychologické a sociální dopady ponoření do králičích nor, včetně vlivu na duševní zdraví, veřejné mínění a politické klima. Pozornost je věnována také otázkám bezpečnosti a digitální gramotnosti jako obrany proti negativním důsledkům. Praktická část práce prezentuje výsledky kvantitativního dotazníkového šetření, které zkoumá důvody nadměrného trávení času na sociálních sítích a pociťované negativní důsledky u cílové skupiny aktivních uživatelů různých věkových kategorií. Na základě zjištění jsou formulována doporučení pro zdravější používání sociálních sítí na individuální i systémové úrovni.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the phenomenon of "rabbit holes" on social networks and their impact on users. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the definition and explanation of the term "rabbit holes", their relation to other related phenomena and the role of social network algorithms in their creation. Furthermore, the psychological and social effects of immersion in rabbit holes are analyzed, including the impact on mental health, public opinion and political climate. Attention is also paid to issues of security and digital literacy as a defence against negative consequences. The practical part of the thesis presents the results of a quantitative questionnaire survey that explores the reasons for excessive time spent on social networks and the perceived negative consequences among a target group of active users of different ages. Based on the findings, recommendations for healthier use of social networking sites are formulated at individual and systemic level.
