Narration in detective novels of Georges Simenon and Léo Malet
Abstract:
Předkládaná disertační práce si klade za cíl porovnat detektivní romány Georgese Simenona o komisaři Maigretovi s cyklem Léa Maleta Nové tajnosti pařížské, ve kterém se objevuje postava Nestora Burmy. Tato komparace je založena na analýze základních narativních kategorií epického diskursu: vypravěč, postava, čas a prostředí.
Abstract:
The present paper focuses on the comparison of detective novels by Georges Simeon about commissar Maigret with the cycle of Léo Malet Les Nouveaux Mystères de Paris introducing the character of Nestor Burma. The comparison is based on the analysis of essential narrative categories of discourse: narrator, character, time and setting.
