The diploma thesis aims to clarify to what extent the French writer Michel Tournier was inspired by the ballad The Erl-King by Johann Wolfgang Goethe ("Erlkönig") in his novel of the same name ("Der Erlkönig"). Diplomová práce si klade za cíl objasnit, do jaké míry se francouzský spisovatel Michel Tournier ve svém románu Král duchů ("Der Erlkönig") inspiroval stejnojmennou baladou od Johanna Wolfganga Goetheho ("Erlkönig").
