Anotácia:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá překladem knihy Flowers for Algernon (do češtiny přeložené jako Růže pro Algernon) od Daniela Keyese. Práce zahrnuje část praktickou, jež obsahuje překlad prvních 8 kapitol, a část teoretickou, ve které jsou překlad a originál analyzovány se zaměřením na chyby v pravopisu a gramatice hlavní postavy.
Abstract:
This Master's Thesis deals with the translation of the book Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes. The thesis consists of the practical part, which contains the translation of the first 8 chapters, and the theoretical part, in which the translation and the original are analysed with special regard to the errors made by the main character in spelling and grammar.
