Correlation of physical performance of units of the Army of the Czech Republic and their physical training

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce srovnává fyzickou výkonnost dvou různých čet stejného vojenského útvaru pomocí baterie fyzických testů, osobního dotazníku IPAQ a osobního pohovoru. Výsledné údaje zpracovává a srovnává s předpokladem, že výsledky jedné čety budou výrazně lepší než výsledky druhé. Část testování obou čet probíhalo od září do října roku 2019 a další výsledky testů jsem získal z výročního přezkoušení roku 2019 pro AČR. Přičemž nejmladší probant byl ročník narození 1998 a nejstarší probant byl ročník narození 1979. Celkem se výzkumu účastnilo 30 vojáků z povolání. V práci jsem dospěl k závěru, že vojáci průzkumné čety jsou fyzicky zdatnější než vojáci čety spojovací, a také jejich tělesná příprava je organizovaná, což vede k lepším výsledkům ve výročním přezkoušení AČR a v testové baterii UNIFITTEST 6-60.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis compares the physical performance of two different platoons of the same military unit, using a battery of physical tests, IPAQ personal questionnaire and personal interview. The resulting data are then processed and compared with the assumption that the results of one platoon will be significantly better than the other. A part of the test was undertaken in September and October 2019 and other test results were used from the annual physical examination of Czech soldiers in 2019. The youngest probant was born in 1998 and the oldest one was born in 1979. A total of 30 soldiers took part in the research. In my work I came to the conclusion that the soldiers of the reconnaissance platoon are more physically fit than the soldiers of the liaison platoon, and also their physical training is organized, which leads to better results in the annual ACR examination and in the UNIFITTEST 6-60 test battery.
