Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na zhodnocení CSR aktivit a jejich komunikace firem H&M a ZARA, podnikajících v módním průmyslu. Na základě kterého bylo zjištěno, že obě firmy se snaží prosazovat odpovědné praktiky v ekonomické, sociální i environmentální oblasti CSR, ale stále čelí výzvám v oblasti dodržování pracovních podmínek v dodavatelských řetězcích a snižování negativního dopadu své činnosti na životní prostředí. Dále bylo zjištěno, že obě firmy mají mnoho příležitostí ke zlepšení v oblasti komunikace svých CSR aktivit. V reakci na zjištění a dotazníkové šetření byly navrženy čtyři návrhy na zlepšení, dva aplikovatelné pro obě firmy a jeden pro každou. Konkrétními návrhy byly větší transparentnost firem v oblasti CSR aktivit, založení profilů na sociálních sítích udržitelným kolekcím Conscious Choice a Join Life, nový odměňovací systém zákazníků H&M Green Club a videonávody, jak se o oblečení lépe starat ZARA Workshop. Tato práce ukázala, že ačkoli obě společnosti učinily pozitivní kroky v rámci své společenské odpovědnosti, stále existuje prostor pro zlepšení.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the evaluation of CSR activities and their communication of the companies H&M and ZARA, operating in the fashion industry. On the basis of which it was found that both companies try to promote responsible practices in the economic, social and environmental areas of CSR, but still face challenges in the area of ​​compliance with working conditions in supply chains and reducing the negative impact of their activities on the environment. Furthermore, it was found that both companies have many opportunities for improvement in the field of communicating their CSR activities. In response to the findings and questionnaire survey, four suggestions for improvement were proposed, two applicable to both companies and one to each. Specific suggestions were greater transparency of companies in the area of ​​CSR activities, the establishment of profiles on social networks for the sustainable Conscious Choice and Join Life collections, the new reward system for customers H&M Green Club and video instructions on how to take better care of clothes at ZARA Workshop. This work has shown that although both companies have taken positive steps in their social responsibility, there is still room for improvement.
