Bee-Bot as a means of teaching in pre-school education.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na téma "Bee-Bot jako prostředek pro výuku v předškolním vzdělávání". V teoretické části najdeme využití robotů ve výuce a její zastoupení v RVP PV, v ŠVP PV, a dokonce i v RVP ZV. Další kapitola popisuje edukační robotiku a její charakteristické vlastnosti. Poslední kapitolou v teoretické části jsou robotické hračky vhodné do předškolního vzdělávání. Najdeme zde informace o robotických hračkách Bee-Bot, Blue-Bot, robotická myš Code & Go, Dash Bot, Pro-Bot autíčko a Ozobot. Na konci kapitoly jsou popsány klady a zápory těchto robotů. V praktické části jsme realizovali s dětmi připravené aktivity ve dvou variantách - s včelkou Bee-Bot a s pracovními listy, úkoly byly totožné. Po realizaci následovalo srovnání výuky, kde se zjistilo, zda se děti naučily více s včelkou Bee-Bot nebo s pracovním listem. Na závěr se uskutečnil s dětmi řízený rozhovor, jehož cílem bylo zjistit, zda děti bavily aktivity a práce s včelkou. V poslední kapitole je návrh nových aktivit, které jsme vytvořili na základě ověření aktivit a řízeného rozhovoru s dětmi mateřské školy.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focused on the topic "Bee-Bot as a means of teaching in pre-school education". In the theoretical part we find the use of robots in teaching and its representation in RVP PV, in ŠVP PV, and even in RVP ZV. The next chapter describes educational robotics and its characteristic properties. The final chapter in the theoretical part are robot toys suitable for pre-school education. Here we find information about robotic toys such as Bee-Bot, Blue-Bot, robotic mouse Code & Go, Dash Bot, Pro-Bot car and Ozobot. At the end of the chapter are described pros and cons of these robots. In the practical part, we carried out prepared activities with children in two variants - with Bee-Bot and with worksheets, the tasks were identical. The implementation was followed by a comparison of teaching, where it was found whether the children had learned more with the Bee-Bot or with the worksheet. Finally, a controlled interview was conducted with the children. The goal was to discover if the children had fun during the activities and while working with the bee. In the last chapter there is a proposal for new activities that we have created based on the verification of activities and a controlled interview with kindergarten children.
