Analysis of Unemployment in the Euroregion of the Krušné Mountains (Erzgebirge)

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá Euroregionem Krušnohoří/Erzgebirge. Zvláštním územím v rámci Euroregionu je horská oblast, kterou se zde podrobněji rozebírám. Je zde zmapována historie oblasti, její geografické a demografické zvláštnosti a další specifika. V práci zkoumám nezaměstnanost této velmi specifické oblasti – její vývoj v minulosti a současný stav. V práci hledám cesty, jak snížit nezaměstnanosti v této oblasti na základě poznatků z historie a dalších oborů. V závěru nabízím možná řešení ke snížení nezaměstnanosti v této oblasti při využití právě zdejší jedinečnosti.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the Euroregion of the Krušné Mountains (Erzgebirge). What I deal with in this thesis is a special mountainous Euroregion area, the issues of which are elaborated in greater detail. The thesis deals with the history of the area, its geographical and demographic features and other peculiars. The thesis deals with the issue of unemployment within this very specific area, both in terms of the past developments and the present-day status. What I have tried was to identify the measures to increase unemployment in this area – on the basis of the findings derived from the history and other scientific branches. At the end, prospective solutions aimed at reduction of the unemployment rate in this particular area are proposed –relying on making use of the uniqueness of this particular area.
