The Analysis of the New Emploees Adaptation in a Selected Organization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce Analýza adaptace nových zaměstnanců ve vybrané organizaci se zabývá procesem adaptace nových zaměstnanců ve vybrané organizaci XY. Cílem práce je popsat podobu adaptačního procesu ve firmě a zjistit, zda tato podoba adaptačního procesu odpovídám potřebám nových pracovníků. Tato práce vznikla na základě toho, že ve firmě chybí komplexnější hodnocení adaptačního procesu. V teoretické části definujeme pojem adaptace, její oblasti, účastníky, fáze, cíle, adaptační nástroje, hodnocení adaptačního procesu a nejčastější chyby při adaptaci. Také zde vymezujeme pojem potřeba a popisujeme potřeby nových zaměstnanců v rámci procesu adaptace. V metodologické části uvádíme naše výzkumné otázky a jejich operacionalizaci, výzkumnou strategii, metody sběru dat, podobu a výběr výzkumného souboru a možné limity výzkumu. Naše empirická část obsahuje analýzu a interpretaci získaných dat. V závěru odpovídáme na naši hlavní výzkumnou otázku a navrhujeme doporučení ke zlepšení adaptačního procesu v dané organizaci.

Abstract:

The thesis The Analysis of the New Employees Adaptation in a Selected Organization deals with the adaptation process of new employees in a selected organization XY. The aim of the thesis is to describe the form of the adaptation process in the company and to find out whether this form of the adaptation process corresponds to the needs of new workers. This thesis was based on the lack of a more comprehensive evaluation of the adaptation process in the company. In the theoretical part, we define the concept of adaptation, its areas, participants, phases, goals, adaptation tools, evaluation of the adaptation process and the most common adaptation mistakes. We also define the concept of need and describe the needs of new employees within the adaptation process. In the methodological part we present our research questions and their operationalization, research strategy, data collection methods, the design and selection of the research sample and possible limits of research. Our empirical part includes the analysis and interpretation of the acquired data. In conclusion, we answer our main research question and suggest recommendations to improve the adaptation process in the organization.
