Accounting information system and its influence on setting of accounting processes of the selected economic entity

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na účetní informační systém a jeho vliv na účetní procesy zvolených ekonomických subjektů. Účetnictví jako takové je nezbytnou součástí všech firem. Těmto subjektům poskytuje všechny důležité informace o průběhu hospodaření, udává podstatné informace pro budoucí rozhodování a v další řadě je také důležité pro plánování a řízení celého podniku. Teoretická část práce se zabývá podstatnými informacemi nutnými pro pochopení problematiky spojené s účetnictvím, jedná se například o uvedení nezbytných účetních termínů, funkce účetnictví či historický vývoj účetnictví v České republice, ale i ve světě. Praktická část bakalářské práce je věnována ekonomickému subjektu zabývajícím se poradenstvím v oblasti účetnictví a daní. Konkrétně se jedná o účetní firmu paní Marie Wilhamové. U daného ekonomického subjektu je popsán účetní systém, který subjekt využívá. Ke konci práce jsou účetní softwary srovnány a následně jsou navržena zlepšení a doporučení pro vybraný ekonomický subjekt.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the accounting information system and its influence on the accounting processes of selected economic entities. Accounting as such is a necessary part of all companies. It provides these entities with all important information about the course of business, provides essential information for future decision-making, and is also important for the planning and management of the entire company. The theoretical part of the work deals with the essential information necessary for understanding the issues related to accounting, for example, it deals with the introduction of necessary accounting terms, the function of accounting or the historical development of accounting in the Czech Republic, but also in the world. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis is devoted to an economic subject dealing with consulting in the field of accounting and taxes. Specifically, it is the accounting firm of Mrs. Marie Wilhamová. For a given economic entity, the accounting system used by the entity is described. At the end of the work, the accounting software is compared and then improvements and recommendations are proposed for the selected economic entity.
