Human pluripotent stem cells have unique features, which are supported also by FGF-2. Export of FGF-2 from the cells is provided by unconventional secretion pathway. Recent studies suggest, that a key molecule of this mechanism is TEC kinase. Lidské pluripotentní kmenové buňky si své unikátní vlastnosti udržují i díky mitogenu FGF-2. Jeho transport ven z buněk probíhá nekonvenční sekreční dráhou. Poslední výzkumy ukazují, že klíčovou molekulou zapojenou do tohoto mechanizmu je TEC kináza.
