Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na feminismus v románu Život a lásky jedné ďáblice napsaný bristkou spisovatelkou Fay Weldon. Život a lásky jedné ďáblice je jednou z nejdůležitějších feministických knih napsaných v období druhé vlny feminismu, a dodnes je značně probírána a analyzována. Tato práce se zabývá především pozitivními a negativnímy aspekty feminismu, které jsou zmiňovány v románu, z pohledu feminismu, který známe dnes - jelikož se odlišuje v nejrůznějších ohledech od feminismu během druhé vlny, kdy byla tato kniha publikována.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on feminism in the novel The Life and Loves of a She-Devil, written by British writer Fay Weldon. The Life and Loves of a She-Devil is one of the most important feminist books written during the Second Wave feminism, also known as the Women’s Liberation, and up to this day it is a highly discussed and analysed book. The thesis mainly discusses positive and negative aspects of feminism mentioned in the novel from the point of view of feminism, as we know it today – since it certainly differs in many aspects from the Second Wave feminism, when this novel was published.
