Extreme precipitation events in drainage basin of Rožnovská Bečva as the source of changes in landscape

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této práce bylo zjistit, zda mají extrémní srážkové události vliv na změnu v krajině v povodí řeky Rožnovské Bečvy, a to konkrétně se zaměřením na období od roku 1997 do roku 2008. Zmíněn je především kritický rok 1997, kdy došlo k největším změnám. V práci jsou také uvedeny fyzicko-geografické charakteristiky povodí. Je zde poskytnut přehled o srážkoměrných a vodoměrných stanicích ve vybraném povodí a průběh srážek a průtoků na nich naměřených. Obsahuje analýzu extrémních srážkových událostí oblasti a jejich vliv na další prvky v krajině. Rozebírá, jaké následky mají vysoké srážky v povodí a jak mění následné povodně okolní krajinu. Práce shrnuje i příčiny povodní z hlediska parametrů povodí. Závěr je věnován možným řešením, jak co nejúčelněji zabránit extrémnímu průtoku a jeho vlivu na člověka a krajinu, ve které žije.

Abstract:

The main aim of this work is to ascertain if extreme precipitation have an influence on the changes of a landscape in the basin of the river Rožnovská Bečva, respectively with a view to the period since 1997 by the year 2008. Especially critical year 1997 is mentioned here when take place the biggest changes. There are the physically-geographical characteristics of the river basin too. The work provides survey about precipitation-gage and water-gage stations in the chosen river basin and the process of the precipitation and discharges measured on them. It contains analysis of extreme precipitation events of the territory and their influence on next elements in landscape. It parses which aftereffects have the high precipitation in the basin and how subsequent floods change surrounding landscape. The work summarises also the causes of floods in light of parameters od river basin. At the conclusion, this work tries to find possible solutions how as functionally as possible avert to extreme discharge and it?s influence on man and landscape, in which he lives.
