Sledování pornografie může podle odborné literatury vést k závislosti. Závislost na pornografii patří mezi typ rizikového závislostního chování, které uživatele negativně ovlivňuje v sociálním fungování. Zasahuje partnerské vztahy i vztahy k druhým lidem.
