Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá potenciálem univerzálního designu pro učení (UDL) zvýšit přístupnost online kurzů. Prostřednictvím systematické rešerše literatury a tematické analýzy zkoumá problémy a přínosy tohoto přístupu. Výsledky analýzy ukazují, že UDL představuje flexibilní a proaktivní přístup, který dokáže zvýšit přístupnost, zapojení studentů do výuky, a jejich výsledky učení. Výzkum však také poukazuje na problémy spojené s implementací, které bývají způsobeny komplexitou UDL směrnic a výší investic. Výsledky také upozorňují na nedostatek experimentálních studií s detailně propracovanou metodologií, které zahrnují perspektivu studentů s postižením.

Abstract:

This thesis explores the potential of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in improving the accessibility of online courses. Through a systematic literature review and thematic analysis, the study examines the challenges and benefits of this framework. Analysis reveals that UDL serves as a flexible and proactive framework, enhancing accessibility, engagement, and learning outcomes. However, the research also highlights the implementation challenges caused by the complexity of UDL guidelines and resource requirements. Results also underscore a research gap in rigorous experimental studies that incorporate the perspectives of students with disabilities.
