Non-profit organizations and local self-government in Orlová

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá nestátními neziskovými organizacemi a místní samosprávou v Orlové. První kapitola teoretické části je věnovaná charakteristice nestátních neziskových organizací. Další kapitola je věnovaná historickým vývojem neziskových organizací od zhruba 14. století až po rok 2021 na území Orlové. Závěrečná část teoretické části se zabývá charakteristikou vybraných neziskových organizací. Tato kapitola popisuje historický vývoj vybraných organizací, jejich hlavní činnosti, poslání, zdroje financování a právní formy. Praktická část je věnovaná místní samosprávě v Orlové. V praktické části je charakterizován způsob fungování místní samosprávy vzhledem k nestátním neziskovým organizacím. Cílem práce je dodat materiály, o tom, jak město spolupracuje s nestátními organizacemi ve spojení s příklady dobré a špatné praxe. K těmto cílům jsou využity nástroje kvantitativních výzkumných nástrojů.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with non-state non-profit organizations and local self-government in Orlová. The first chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to the characteristics of non-governmental non-profit organizations. The next chapter of the theoretical part deals with the historical development of non-profit organizations from roughly the 14th century to 2021 in the territory of Orlová. The final part of the theoretical part deals with the characteristics of selected non-profit organizations. This chapter describes the historical development of selected organizations, their main activities, missions, funding sources and legal forms. The practical part is dedicated to the local self-government in Orlová. The practical part describes how local self – government interacts with non – governmental organizations. The aim of the work is to provide materials on how the city cooperates with non-governmental organizations in connection with examples of good and bad practice. Quantitative research tools are used for these goals.
