The main focus of this thesis is to translate and subsequently comment upon the translation of two short literary texts. The translation is done from English to Czech. Hlavním tématem této bakalářské práce je překlad a následný komentář dvou krátkých literárních textů. Překlad byl proveden z angličtiny do češtiny. Tato práce je rozdělena do tří částí.
