From Decadence to Convention: Selected Works by Emanuel of Lešehrad
Abstract:
Diplomová práce je příspěvkem k poznání básnického a prozaického díla Emanuela z Lešehradu (1877-1955). Cílem této práce je postihnout charakteristické rysy jeho prvních dvou děl, dekadentních básnických sbírek Smutné kraje a Květy samoty. Dále analyzuje Lešehradovu novelu Matilda Erhartová. Diplomová práce rovněž představuje kritické ohlasy na autorovo dílo.
Abstract:
This thesis is a contribution to the knowledge of selected poetic and prosaic works by Emanuel of Lešehrad (1877-1955). The aim of this work is to express characteristic features of his initial two works. It means decadence poetic collection: The triste lands and The solitude flowers.
