Teacher's attitudes towards the regular and sport-oriented class at the second level of elementary school

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou postojů učitelů k běžným a sportovně zaměřeným třídám na druhém stupni základní školy. Cílem práce je zjistit postoje učitelů k běžné třídě a ke sportovně zaměřené třídě na druhém stupni základní školy a následně ověřit, zda existuje statisticky významný rozdíl v jejich postojích. Struktura práce zahrnuje analýzu literatury a následný průzkum postojů učitelů prostřednictvím anketového šetření. Výzkumný soubor je tvořen třemi základními školami s rozšířenou výukou tělesné výchovy ve Zlínském kraji. Do výzkumu se zapojilo 51 učitelů a 587 žáků (301 běžná třída, 286 sportovně zaměřená třída). Pro sběr dat bylo využito nestandardizované anketové šetření. Výsledky ukázaly, že ve sportovních třídách jsou preferovány pasivní reakce učitelů na vybrané modelové situace, zatímco v běžných třídách aktivní kroky. Statisticky významný rozdíl v postojích se prokázal a v platnost tudíž vešla alternativní hypotéza. A analýza reziduálních hodnot ukázala, že jsou rozdíly v chování učitelů mezi jednotlivými aprobacemi.

Abstract:

This master's thesis investigates the attitudes of teachers towards regular and sports-oriented classes at the secondary level of elementary school. The aim is to determine the attitudes of teachers towards both regular and sports-oriented classes and then verify whether there is a statistically significant difference in these attitudes. The structure of the thesis includes a literature analysis followed by a survey of teacher attitudes through an unstandardized questionnaire. The research sample consisted of three elementary schools with extended physical education programs in the Zlín region. The study involved 51 teachers and 587 students (301 from regular classes, 286 from sports-oriented classes). Results indicated that passive teacher responses are preferred in sports-oriented classes for selected model situations, whereas active steps are favored in regular classes. A statistically significant difference in attitudes was confirmed, thus supporting the alternative hypothesis. Residual value analysis showed that there are differences in teacher behavior among various certifications.
