Care of a Woman during Pregnancy and after Childbirth from the Perspective of a Midwife and a Physiotherapist

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá péčí o ženu v těhotenství a po porodu z pohledu porodní asistentky a fyzioterapeutky. V teoretické části je popsáno těhotenství, porod a rozdílné funkce porodní asistence a fyzioterapie. Dále také nejčastější obtíže v mé praxi, které ženy obtěžují během těhotenství. V části práce jsou i popsané některé fyzioterapeutické metody, které lze aplikovat v těhotenství i po porodu. Praktická část je věnována poradnám, vyšetření a terapeutickým postupům jedné ženy a zároveň kvantitativní dotazník. Péče o ženu byla dána po dobu těhotenství až 3 měsíců po porodu. Obsahuje anamnézu, poradny od porodní asistentky, dále také vstupní vyšetření, rehabilitační plán, záznam terapie od fyzioterapeutky. Po dobu 3 měsíců bylo kontrolované a aktivně zapojeno do cvičení i dítě probandky. Pro druhou část praktické části byl vytvořen kvantitativní dotazník, který byl určen pro ženy, které rodily spontánně nebo operativně. Hlavním cílem této práce je, zjistit informovanost žen o využití spolupráce porodní asistence a fyzioterapie v těhotenství nebo po porodu, jak z preventivních důvodů, tak při komplikacích.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the care of a woman during pregnancy and after childbirth from the point of view of a midwife and a physiotherapist. The theoretical part describes pregnancy, childbirth and the different functions of midwifery and physiotherapy. Also, the most common difficulties in my practice that bother women during pregnancy. Some physiotherapy methods that can be applied during pregnancy and after childbirth are also described in part of the work. The practical part is devoted to consultations, examinations and therapeutic procedures of one woman, as well as a quantitative questionnaire. The care of the woman was given during pregnancy up to 3 months after delivery. It contains anamnesis, consultations from a midwife, as well as an initial examination, a rehabilitation plan, and a record of therapy from a physiotherapist. For a period of 3 months, the subject's child was also monitored and actively involved in the exercises. For the second part of the practical part, a quantitative questionnaire was created, which was intended for women who gave birth spontaneously or operatively. The main goal of the bachelor's thesis is to determine women's awareness of utilizing the collaboration between midwifery and physiotherapy during pregnancy or after childbirth, both for preventive reasons and in case of complications.
