The Developement of the Population Kunratice according to Parish Registries (1704-1865)

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměří na analýzu vybraných aspektů demografického vývoje obyvatelstva v prostředí obce Kunratice v průběhu 18. a 19. století. Základním pramenným podkladem se stanou farní matriky farnosti Kunratice (1704-1865), které doplní církevní "soupis duší" dochovaný pro období po polovině 19. století. V souvislosti s možnostmi uvedené pramenné základy bude hlavní pozornost orientována k analýze charakteru demografického vývoje (a chování) obyvatelstva v dané lokalitě. Konkrétním způsobem zde budou zhodnoceny proměny natality a mortality v závislosti na celkovém demografickém vývoji obyvatelstva. Dílčí pozornost bude věnována problematice sňatečnosti, která se stane i podkladem pro pokus rekonstrukci rodin v dané lokalitě. V kontextu těchto okruhů bude dále alespoň dílčím způsobem posouzena též otázka mobility obyvatelstva dané lokality.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis focusing on selected aspects of demographic development of the population in the village Kunratice in the 18th and 19th centuries. The main source material will be the parish registries of the parish of Kunratice (1704-1865), which will complement the list of "souls" for the period after the middle of the 19th century. Depending on the source base it will be the main focus is on the analysis of the demographic development (and behavior) of the population in the selected location. Changes in natality and mortality depending on the overall demographic development of the population will be evaluated. Partial attention will be paid to the issue of marriage, which will become the basis for an attempt to reconstruct families in the locality. In the context of these topics, the issue of mobility of the population of the given locality will also be assessed, at least in part.
