Thesis is focused on the President of the Czech Republic, specifically his role in foreign policy. The aim of this thesis is to examine what kind of impact had the President of Czechoslovakia and later Czech Republic, on the formation of the Visegrad cooperation, and also on its subsequent functioning during the 1990s.
