Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá burzovně obchodovatelnými fondy, tzv. Exchange Traded Funds (ETF). Cílem práce je přiblížit fungování různých typů ETF a na analyzovaných datech zjistit, zda dochází k neefektivnosti při sledování benchmarku. Práce popisuje odvětví kolektivního investování, charakteristiky ETF, jejich oceňování a v analytické části srovnává výkonnost vybraných komoditních fondů. Dochází tak k zajímavým zjištěním.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with exchange traded funds (ETFs). The goal is to explain how different kinds of ETFs work and to find out whether some of them operate inefficiently when it comes to following their benchmarks. The thesis describes the collective investments industry, characteristics and valuation of ETFs, and compares the performance of chosen commodity funds among themselves as well as to their benchmarks. The thesis reaches an interesting conclusion.

Cieľom práce je priblížiť fungovanie rôznych typov ETF a na analyzovaných dátach zistiť, či dochádza k neefektívnosti pri sledovaní benchmarku istými fondmi. Práca popisuje odvetvie kolektívneho investovania, charakteristiky ETF, ich oceňovanie a v analytickej časti porovnáva výkonnosť vybraných komoditných fondov. Dochádza tak k zaujímavým zisteniam.
