Cultural capital and chances in education. The role of cultural capital in the formation of educational aspirations and study plans of adolescents
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá formováním vzdělanostních aspirací žáků devátých tříd základních v České republice. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována roli vzdělání rodičů a kulturního kapitálu výchozí rodiny. K verifikování stanovených hypotéz jsou v práci analyzována data z výzkumu PISA-L.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the formation of educational aspirations of pupils of the ninth grade of elementary schools in the Czech Republic. Special attention is paid to the role of parents’ education and cultural capital of the background family. To verify the formulated hypotheses, the data from the project PISA_L are analyzed.
