Analysis of the socialeconomics indicators in the area of NUTS II

Abstract:

Diplomová práce podrobuje analýze socioekonomickou situaci Libereckého, Královéhradeckého a Pardubického kraje, prostřednictvím vybraných ekonomických a sociálních ukazatelů, jenž charakterizují sledované kraje v oblasti úrovně průměrných mezd, nezaměstnanosti, stavů odvětví zpracovatelského průmyslu a stavební činnosti za 1. čtvrtletí roku 2007. Vybrané kraje souhrnně tvoří statistickou oblast NUTS II Severovýchod, která jsou v současné době předmětem zájmu Evropské unie, zejména v oblasti regionální politiky a v problematice čerpání prostředků ze strukturálních fondů. Práce je zaměřena na hodnocení výsledků ekonomické činnosti sledovaných krajů i s vymezením jejich pozice v rámci celé České republiky. Převážná část analýzy přestavuje vzájemnou komparaci. V diplomové práci jsou aplikovány statistické metody vícerozměrné statistické analýzy. Jednotlivé analýzy byly provedeny pomocí počítačového programu MS-EXCEL a specializovaného statistického softwaru UNISTAT.

Abstract:

The diploma work analyses the socioeconomic situation of the regions Liberecký, Královehradecký and Pardubický, through the selected economic and social indicators. These indicators characterize the monitored regions in the field of average wages, unemployment, level of manufacturing industry and construction activities during the first quarter of the year 2007. The selected regions form the statistical area NUTS II north-east, that is in the present time subject of interest of the European Union, especially in the area of the regional policy and in drawings the structural funds resources. The work is focused to evaluation of the results of economic activities of the monitored regions even with determination of their position within the whole Czech Republic. The major part of analyses is mutual comparison. The statistical methods of the multidimensional statistical analyses are applied in the diploma work. The individual analyses were realised by the help of the computer programme MS-EXCEL and by specialized statistical software UNISTAT.
