The Application of Westminster and Consensual Model of Democracy - New Zealand after the electoral system change
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou důsledků změny volebního systému na Novém Zélandu. Předpokladem je, že mělo přijetí smíšeného volebního systému v roce 1996 širší dopad na politický systém země. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké důsledky měla změna pro pozici demokracie Nového Zélandu v rámci modelu westminsterské a konsensuální demokracie Arenda Lijpharta.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the analysis of the consequences of the electoral reform change in New Zealand. We suppose that the adoption of the mixed-member-proportional-system of election has had wide impact on the country´s political system.
