Discomfort of Nurses when Caring for Dying Patients

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na diskomfort sester, které pečují o umírající pacienty. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak jsou tyto sestry ovlivněny po stránce psychické, fyzické a sociální. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část objasňuje a vymezuje základní pojmy dané problematiky. První kapitola v teoretické části práce se věnuje diskomfortu, druhá kapitola pojednává o umírání a třetí nastiňuje podstatu paliativní péče. Praktická část se zaměřuje na kvantitativní výzkum a jeho realizaci pomocí dotazníků pro sestry v Uherskohradišťské nemocnici. Výsledky výzkumu jsou zpracovány a vyhodnoceny tak, aby mohly být využity v praxi.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the discomfort of nurses who take care of dying patients. The aim of the thesis is to find out how these nurses have been influenced psychological, physical and social. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part clarifies and defines the basic concepts of given problems. The first chapter in the the-oretical part deals with discomfort, the second chapter deals with dying and the third outli-nes the nature of palliative care. The practical part focuses on quantitative research and its implementation through questionnaires for nurses in hospital Uherské Hradiště. The re-search results are processed and evaluated so that they can be used in practice.
