Molecular interactions during bone formation and remodelling

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou zaměřenou na tvorbu kostí a také její obnovu. Popisují se zde procesy chondrogeneze a osteogeneze kosti, které jsou zajišťovány geny a růstovými faktory, mezi ně patří BMP, FGF, TGF, WNT, IHH a VEGF. Dále se zde pojednává o minerálech udržující homeostázu kosti a jejich možných onemocnění. Kosti pouze nerostou ale mají schopnost remodelace. Tato remodelace je samozřejmě řízená geny a růstovými faktory, ale i hormony. V závěru práce jsou uvedeny nejčastější onemocnění kostí způsobené poruchou homeostázy a jejich možná terapie, včetně nejnovějších molekulárních přístupů.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of targeting of bone formation and also its remodelling. Processes are described here chondrogenesis and osteogenesis bone, which are provided by genes and growth factor, among them BMP, FGF, TGF, WNT, IHH and VEGF. Furthermore, there is about maintaining the homeostasis of bone minerals and their possible disease. Bones do not growth only but have the ability to remodelling. This remodelling is obviously controlled genes and growth factors, as well as hormones. Finally there are the most common bone disease caused by the failure of homeostasis and possible therapies, including the newest molecular approaches.
