The influence of the environment on juvenile delinquency

Abstract:

Práce popisuje vznik a vývoj kriminality mladistvých, popisuje to zejména z pohledu vlivu prostředí, ve kterém se mladistvý nacházejí. Teoretická část se věnuje tomu, jak mladistvý tráví volný čas, což je v mých očích nejdůležitější faktor pro samotný vznik nežádoucího chování. Dále popisuje vývoj kriminality mládeže a vymezí sociální faktory ovlivňující její vznik, jako je například škola, rodina a společnost. V neposlední části se zaměřím na možnosti prevence kriminality a popíše jednotlivé nápravné instituce a jejich obsah práce. Součást praktické části jsou rozhovory s mladistvými, kteří vykazují známky nebo sklony k delikventnímu chování. Úkolem je zjistit, které prostředí má na kriminalitu mladistvých největší vliv a jaký druh kriminality je v institucích nejčastější, případně zjistit, proč tomu tak je.

Abstract:

The work describes the origin and development of juvenile delinquency, focusing primarily on the influence of the environment in which young people find themselves. The theoretical part addresses how juveniles spend their free time, which, in my opinion, is the most important factor in the emergence of undesirable behavior. It also describes the development of youth crime and identifies social factors that influence its emergence, such as school, family and society. In the final section, I will focus on the possibilities of preventing crime and describe various correctional institutions and their work. Part of the practical section involves interviews with young individuals exhibiting signs or tendencies of delinquent behavior. The main task is to determine which environment has the greatest impact on juvenile delinquency and what type of crime is most common in these institutions, or to find out why that is the case.
