Abstract:

Duševní onemocnění představuje ve společnosti stále závažné stigma, které ohrožuje významným způsobem psychiatricky nemocné ztrátou zaměstnání nebo jejich zaměstnáváním do hůře placených pozic. Psychiatričtí pacienti dlouhodobě žijí v příjmové chudobě, která má za následek jejich hloubkou exkluzi ve všech oblastech života. Jejich dlouhodobá nepříznivá sociální situace ovlivňuje kvalitu jejich zdraví, a tím je vylučuje z pracovního trhu. Moje práce se zabývá onemocněním pod názvem bipolární afektivní porucha. Jedná se o závažné a celoživotní onemocnění, které se projevuje významnými změnami nálad. Příznaky onemocnění mohou mít dopad na požadovaný pracovní výkon. Svoji práci jsem zaměřila na zkoumání této oblasti. Považuji inkluzi pacientů s bipolární poruchou na pracovní trh za klíčovou jednak ve snižování finančních nákladů z celosvětových a národních rozpočtů, které jsou způsobeny jejich vysokou invalidizací a nemocností. Především však má jejich inkluze spočívat v zachování jejich schopností pracovat. Cílem má být společenské, existenční a ve filozofickém smyslu existencionální potvrzení každého BAP pacienta, že je schopen rozhodovat o svém životě nezávisle a svobodně. Význam mé práce spočívá v tom, že staví své závěry výlučně na žitých zkušenostech bipolárních pacientů v rolích zaměstnanců a kolegů.

Abstract:

Mental illness still represents a serious stigma in society, which significantly threatens psychiatric patients with job loss or their employment in lower paying positions. Psychiatric patients live in income poverty for a long time, which results in their profound exclusion in all areas of life. Their long-term unfavorable social situation affects the quality of their health and thus excludes them from the labor market. My work deals with a disease called bipolar affective disorder. It is a serious and lifelong disease that manifests itself in significant changes in mood. The symptoms of the disease can have an impact on the required work performance. I focused my work on researching this area. I consider the inclusion of patients with bipolar disorder in the labor market to be crucial, on the one hand, in reducing financial costs from global and national budgets, which are caused by their high level of disability and morbidity. Above all, however, their inclusion should consist in preserving their ability to work. The goal is social, existential and, in a philosophical sense, existential confirmation of each BAP patient that he is able to make decisions about his life independently and freely. The importance of my work lies in the fact that it bases its conclusions exclusively on the lived experiences of bipolar patients in the roles of employees and colleagues.
