The aim of the work is to better analyze the impact of the introduction of the euro currency in foreign trade of SR. If Slovakia wanted to fulfil qualification for entry into the eurozone, it had to the fulfil the convergence criteria, ie. Maastricht criteria, which are described in detail in our work. Cieľom práce je lepšie analyzovať vplyv zavedenia eura na zahraničný obchod SR. Ak chcelo Slovensko splniť podmienku pre vstup do eurozóny, muselo splniť 4 konvergenčné kritériá, tzv. maastrichtských kritérií, ktoré sú podrobnejšie popísané v našej práci.
