A wet day center as part of a network of social services for people with alcohol addiction

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o existenci mokrých denních center na území České republiky a blíže specifikuje jejich principy a hodnoty využívané v rámci sociální práce a jejich zapojení do sítě sociálních služeb. Účelem těchto center je pomoc osobám se závislostí na alkoholu a zlepšení či stabilizování jejich situace na společensky přijatelnou úroveň. Teoretická část práce se věnuje sociální práci, závislosti a práci s ní a samotným mokrým denním centrům. V praktické části je poté představen návrh projektu takového centra na území Moravskoslezského kraje.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis discusses the existence of wet day centres in the Czech Republic and further specifies their principles and values used in the framework of social work and their involvement in the network of social services. The purpose of these centres is to help those with alcohol dependance and to improve or stabilise their situation to a socially acceptable level. The theoretical part of the work is devoted to social work, addiction and working with it and the wet day centres themselves. The practical part then presents the design of a project of such a centre on the territory of Moravian-Silesian Region.
