Shape optimization of the concentrator for induction heating of a chunk

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zaměřuje na velmi aktuální problematiku, kterou je tepelné upínání nástrojů. Hlavním cílem této práce je vytvoření přehledného úvodu do problematiky tepelného upínání a pomocí zvoleného příkladu a jeho numerického modelu analyzovat možnosti využití indukčního ohřevu. V úvodu práce jsou popsány požadavky na upnutí nástrojů a různé způsoby upínání. V další kapitole se nachází popis celého systému tepelného upínání, kde je uveden princip upínání, vlastnosti použitých materiálů, výhody, nevýhody a porovnání různých druhů upínacích zařízení. Následně pokračuje matematický model, kde jsou popsána všechna využitá pole a optimalizace geometrie koncentrátoru. V závěru práce se nachází ilustrativní příklad upínání a vyhodnocení výsledků.

Abstract:

The present diploma thesis is focused on a very current issue, which is the thermal clamping of the tools. The main aim of this work is to create a clear introduction to the problem of thermal clamping and to use the selected example and its numerical model to analyze the possibilities of induction heating. At the beginning of the thesis there are described the requirements for clamping of tools and various methods of clamping. In the next chapter is described the whole system of thermal clamping, where the principle of clamping, properties of used materials, advantages, disadvantages and comparison of different types of clamping devices are given. Subsequently, the mathematical model is presented, describing all used fields and optimizing the concentrator geometry. At the end of the thesis there is an illustrative example of clamping and evaluation of results.
